All North Beach Windsurfing School instructors are certified by the US Sailing Association of America. Britt Viehman, the owner, has over 12 years of windsurfing and teaching experience, founded NBWS in 1999. He was recently certified as an Instructor Trainer by US Sailing, which means that he teaches instructors how to instruct. "Teaching people is the best way to stay involved in the sport that I love and it is great seeing the pure joy that radiates from peoples faces when they start skimming across the water windsurfing," says Britt. He also races in the Formula windsurfing class and has raced his whole Florida Windsurfing career. Between racing and teaching, he stays quite busy.
