Kids Summer Windsurfing Camps

Summer time is exciting -
It's time for kids to windsurf!

Summer windsurfing camps are taught by us at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center near Clearwater Beach in Tampa Bay, Florida. These camps are 9-3 Mon-Fri. Typically there is a 2 ½ hour lesson then an hour lunch followed by another 2 ½ hour lesson. We have US Sailing certified windsurfing instructors teaching so the kids have a SAFE, FUN time windsurfing.

Later in the lesson, the kids will travel by boat to the island and go windsurfing there. Quite exciting for them!

You may sign-up with the Sailing Center. The cost is $225. The camps start on May 21st and continue weekly until July 27th. PFD's or life jackets are provided, however the kids may bring their own as well. Ages 8-16.

North Beach Windsurfing Team:

Kids, after they take a beginning lesson or a week of the summer camps, they should have the skills required to become part of the North Beach Windsurfing team.

This program is coached and is geared to have fun with windsurfing. Some of the kids are more serious about racing; others like to sail around with their friends sitting on the front of the board.
