Used Severne Freek Freestyle/Wave Windsurfing Sail
The Severne Freek windsurfing sail was specifically engineered with the freestyle windsurfer in mind. The Freek provides maximum lift, stability and easy ducking for the best performance while showing off your latest tricks. Higher aspect ratios improve lift, while the 5 batten layout means more stability and wind-range, and by utilizing high-tech materials this sail actually weighs less than most 4-batten windsurfing sails. For 2018, they maintained the incredible dynamic relationship between luff curve and seam shaping enabling the Freek to inflate further and faster for increased power and explosive pop, whilst still going neutral for reliable duckability. They also added eM4 material in the lower panel to provide higher skin tension for stability and maintain puncture resistance and tear strength. This is an added bonus for windsurfers who have often attempted new tricks at the cost of tearing through their sails.
Dedicated freestylers will rig the Freek with less downhaul with a tighter head for maximum lift, freestyle wave riders may use more downhaul for more control in a wider range of conditions.
These sails were demo sails used for rentals and have normal wear and tear from repeated use. The 4.8 has a tear under the sticker.
