The Starboard Carve has always been about providing the ultimate in freeride windsurfing performance. Pick the size that works for you and the conditions you windsurf in and you are ready to go! The Carves are fast, but stay in total control, jibe beautifully, plane easily and just remain planing. Inspired by the test-winning Ignite freestyle board, Starboard added extra volume to the tail, while featuring an extra-long flat bottom shape that helps to increase the ease of planing. It is super exciting to experience how confidently these new boards ride!

A lot of thought has gone into the design of the new carves, and the details combine to create a high performance whole. The nose has concaves to smooth impact and create more lift, improving planing performance in light wind. An enhanced deck concave create a lower center of gravity for the drive and power generated through the rig. Keeps the board stable and planted while blasting in rougher conditions and through jibes. A Carefully refined underwater shape at the tail maximises earlier planing while reducing drag at higher top end speeds.

Full wood sandwich lamination of 0.6mm Australian Pinewood over modern, recyclable 3mm PET core foam ensures durability and comfort in a good strength to weight ratio. Today’s wood is less visible in modern graphics; UV protected by fresh blue paint and stickers that compliment the natural grain with a really nice effect. A classy re-edition of a classic Starboard Original.
