S2 Maui high performance sails are made of Carbon and Technora (S2 Maui Spacelight) which have up to 10x less stretch than poliester. A new development of this year is the Gradient Concept. This new technology applies the highest strength, lowest stretch technical fabrics in the lower part of the sail and transitions to progressively lighter high tech material as you move up the sail. The lower sail body is built with incredibly stable, extremely strong Carbon WX Spacelight which transitions to ultralight, strong and responsive Technora Spacelight througout the upper sail body.

New S2 Maui Ninja is created with a strong and super-light full X-ply construction. Carbon WX Spacelight has been oriented in the foot and clew areas to lock in profile and increase strength. And Technora Spacelight throughout  the leech and head of the sail provides incredible strength and super lightweight. This new ultra-strong construction makes Ninja versatile  for  Freestylers/Foil Stylers who want to be able to take their quiver to waves with confidence.
