Tahe Techno 160D / Convert Rig Windsurfing Package
The Tahe 160 D is a universal fun board - quick to plane, and still has a daggerboard for light wind windsurfing fun. A great board for light weight beginners looking to progress quickly, or for larger sailors who want a lighter wind short board. With generous volume, great stability and featuring a retractable daggerboard, the Techno 240 D, 205 D and 160 D are perfectly designed to give you the most helpful conditions for learning to plane, to jibe and how to ride properly in the footstraps. Highly versatile boards that will encourage the whole family learn and progress. They are made using the thermoformed composite technology ACE-TEC and is as a result much lighter than those of the competition. Made at Bic's eco-friendly factory in France
The Severne Convert sail is nice and light, but still durable (with x-ply construction). It is easy to downhaul, so you can get on the water and windsurfing quick - and once you are on the water it has a balanced, stable feel. The components that we have packaged with the Convert sail give you a windsurfing rig that is light, easy to put together, and will work great with other sails as well.
For the smaller sizes of Severne Convert Rigs, 4.8, 5.4, 6.0, the mast will be a Severne White Rdm 50% carbon mast.
For the larger sizes of Severne Convert Rigs, 6.7 and 7.5, the mast will be a Severne White SDM 50% carbon mast.
The 5.4 and 6.0 square meter sails use the 430 cm white rdm 50% carbon mast while the 6.7 and 7.5 square meter sails require the 460 standard diameter mast. The package comes with an adjustable length aluminum boom, aluminum mast extension, and a mast foot.
Just add a harness and harness lines for maximum performance!
