Slightly longer than a normal uphaul and stretchy to make pulling the sail out of the water easier for the beginner windsurfer or for big sails. This is the uphaul we want on our windsurfing rig if we are going to have to use it.  In light wind it is often easier and faster to uphaul than it is to waterstart, particularly if you are on a long board like a Kona or if you are on windfoiling gear.  Save your back by having an uphaul that is long enough to allow you to use good body mechanics when you are pulling the sail out of the water!
